Moving to Ellika from the
RVC Pet Epilepsy Tracker
If you're moving from the RVC Pet Epilepsy Tracker, start by saving a copy of whatever records you can still access. Losing access to your dog's history is upsetting, especially when you've kept it for years. These steps may help you bring it into Ellika. Ellika is an independent project and isn't affiliated with the RVC.
Open it while you still have it installed and look for any export, report or email option in its settings. If there isn't one, screenshots work: go through the seizure history and capture each entry. Slow, but it preserves dates, durations and notes.
Prescription history, dose changes and visit notes live in your clinic's system. Ask for a printout at your next appointment. Those records can help you fill in the medication history.
Ellika accepts entries with any historical date, so you can add past seizures by hand. Start with the most recent and work back, and don't worry about perfection. If a date or duration is approximate, say so in the notes.
Ellika has a CSV import option. Your columns may need adjusting first, so keep the original file and check the imported entries afterwards. If you get stuck, email support@ellika.app with a description of the problem and I’ll help you work through it.
