Why Ellika exists

It started
with Ella.

Ellika isn't a company's idea of a pet app. It's the app I wished I had for my own dog, built between vet visits, for the days a notes app couldn't handle.

The story
Meet Ella

Fast, clever, and convinced every walk is a mission.

Ella is our Belgian Malinois. She's seven now, the kind of dog who notices everything before you do. When she was three, she had her first seizure. I remember kneeling next to her on the kitchen floor with no idea what to do. I didn't even think to look at the clock.

Four years of notes

Timestamps between shopping lists.

For four years I tracked her epilepsy the way most of us do: in the notes app. Half-finished lines like "seizure ~2 min? maybe less." When the seizures started coming more often, the notes stopped keeping up. At every check-up our vet asked simple questions (how many since the last visit, how long, what time of day) and I sat in the waiting room scrolling and guessing.

So I built Ellika

One calm record, shared with her vet.

Now every seizure is timed, every dose is ticked off, and it all lives on one timeline our vet reads too. Her vet adjusts her plan based on what actually happened, not on what I could remember. And I'm calmer, because the record stays calm even when I'm not.

Why it's free

Because it started as a gift to one dog.

Everything you need to track, chart and share costs nothing. The small optional extras just keep the servers running. If Ellika helps your pet the way it helps Ella, that's the whole point.

If your pet has scary days too,
you're not alone.

Ellika is free and takes two minutes to set up. I hope it helps you the way it helps us.
